FPD... protecting data integrity through display technology
For applications where prying eyes aren't welcome, wide viewing angle
LCD screens and other technologies targeted at allowing an enhanced
viewing environment go in the opposite direction of what users demand. In
data sensitive applications, FPD Design Group can apply "haze filters"
and other film-based privacy devices to protect the integrity of the
information being viewed on the display.
Please keep in mind that for sunlight readable applications,
haze/privacy filters can provide serious hinderances to the viewability of the
display for even the direct user as the transmissivity of these filters
is very low by design.
