trioLCD Integration

FPD Design Group provides our sunlight readable trioLCD transflective displays as an enhancement service, integrated in display kits & sub-assemblies, or integrated into full-blown custom built display systems.

If you are designing your own assembly, integration with trioLCD transflective displays is simple. The trioLCD transflective displays are based on standard, commerical off the shelf displays and can be designed into a product the same way that you would design in a regular LCD display from any major manufacturer -like a Sharp or LG display. As with any type of transflective display, please keep in mind that when any devices are put in front of the display that would cause a reduction in transmissivity this reduction in transmissivity will be increased by nearly a factor of two. For this reason, when using a touchscreen in front of our sunlight readable trioLCD transflective LCD displays, please choose one with a very high transmissivity for optimal results.
